Hi, CMBC Members! Let me be "frank," what better way to celebrate this upcoming Father’s Day (June 18, 2023) than by letting your dad or father figure know how much you appreciate him and how much you love being his grilling buddy!? Check out this awesome gift idea for your father, grandfather, or anyone who is a father figure in your life.
What You’ll Need:
Light cardstock- red, orange, black, white, etc. (any variation of colors you want)
Sharpies/Black marker
Glue stick
Scissors
Pencil
Directions:
1. Cut out a big circle using a black piece of paper. Make this circle big, as it will be the “grill.”
2. Next, cut out a smaller circle using a white piece of paper. This will fit inside the black circle.
3. Glue the white circle on top/inside of the black circle.
4. Fold them together in half.
5. Cut out a “spatula” and legs for the grill.
6. Draw lines on the spatula using a Sharpie or black marker, and glue the legs onto the back of the “grill” and the spatula on the front of the “grill.”
7. Next, trace your handprints on the red and orange sheets of paper. You can use any colors of paper you like. We used red and orange to create an illusion of a flame.
8. Cut out the handprints and glue them to the back of the grill where the fold is.
9. Finally, write your message inside and personalize it however you would like! Add stickers or any other extra designs you enjoy.
Thanks to Our Kid Things for this awesome Father’s Day craft idea!
