Hi, CMBC members! Our favorite time of the year is here: back-to-school season! Heading back to the classroom means seeing your friends again, making new friendships, and shopping for school supplies. While you're stocking up at the store on pencils, notebooks, and all the essentials for your best year yet, add some yummy snacks to your shopping cart. You can turn these snacks into a delicious after-school treat and make extras to share with your classmates!
We'll get "write" to the "point" about how to make these pencil-inspired treat bags!

What You'll Need:
Cone-shaped clear bags
Twist ties
Ribbon
Scissors
Mini chocolate chips
Honey graham cookies
Cheddar crackers
Silver-wrapped chocolates
Pink-wrapped fruit chews

Directions:
Fill the tip of the bag with just a few mini chocolate chips. You don't need a lot because this is the "lead" part of your "pencil."
Next, add two graham cookies to the bag. This is the "wood" part of the "pencil."
Add a layer of cheddar crackers to create the yellow part of your "pencil."
Top it off with a layer of 8 silver-wrapped chocolates to create the "metal" top of the "eraser."
Finish with a layer of 8 pink fruit chews for the "eraser."
Seal the top of the bag with a twist tie, and then tie a ribbon of your choice on top. That looks "sharp!"
We wish you a fantastic school year!
