Have you heard my exciting news yet? Well, if you haven’t, I just did something huge…
We just released a brand new Real Kids Real Places mystery book! I’d like to introduce you to The Mystery at Hilton Head Island! This is one of my favorite books in the series because it is based so close to where I live in Beaufort, South Carolina.
By now you know Christina and Grant pretty well, but in this book you’ll get to hang out with my four other grandkids: Avery, Ella, Evan and Sadie, as well as my rescue dog, Coconut! The kids came to visit me in South Carolina, and I had a feeling there was a mystery we could solve during their visit.
We started their visit aboard the Hinky Dinky ferry boat, followed by lunch at The Salty Dog Café. Next we headed over to Hilton Head Island's red-and-white striped lighthouse. The kids wanted to hike up to the top, but Coconut could not make the trek up so we stayed outside. Unfortunately, I did not notice a mysterious man following the kids inside…
